A regular facial that will do wonders for your skin

Step 1: Cleanse
Start with a warm bath. This opens your pores and lets you get a really deep clean. An oil-based cleanser is best for getting rid of grease and grime. Work the product into your pores and massage for at least three minutes. Try massage every day when you cleanse.
It’s a simple way to boost a dull complexion. Use good pressure and sweep fingers from the centre of your face outwards, without dragging the skin. Be gentle around the eyes, and remove the product with a hot, clean flannel.
Step 2: Exfoliate
Next, apply an exfoliator to slightly damp skin and use sweeping upward strokes. Don’t use too much or scrub too hard and don’t exfoliate more than once or twice a week, as this can damage skin. Rinse off well with warm water.
Step 3: Mask
Use one that will treat your specific skin concerns. You can even make your own. Brewer’s yeast mixed into a paste with water is good for oily skin, while mashed avocados work wonders on dry skin.
For the ultimate relaxation, pop a couple of stewed warm herbal teabags (try chamomile) on your eyes while your mask is on.
After 15-20 minutes wash the mask off thoroughly, then press a cold clean flannel against the skin for 30 seconds to close pores, seal in hydration and avoid breakouts.
Step 4: Moisturise
Apply a serum, ideally one with hyaluronic acid, which helps bind water to the skin. And then finish your facial with your favourite eye cream, face oil or moisturiser.
