Rihanna showed a more girly side this evening as she slipped into a bold pink ballgown to attend the Time 100 Gala celebrating TIME'S 100 Most Influential People In The World in New York.

The attire was an unusual choice for the 24-year-old singer, who is usually showing off her curves every chance she gets.

This time the Rihanna looked demure in her her outfit, which featured a strapless bustier and full skirt.

She  paired the looked with some simple black pumps and wore glamourous diamond chandelier earrings.

Rihanna also went to great lengths to pare her hair and make-up down.

Rihanna later slipped into a metallic paired of trousers and a near matching strapless top to perform at the event
